Guest teacher on Mobius with Andy “Motionberg” Vogelsberg

In Andy's words: " Lovely people, while the world is burning and seems to be losing its mind, we need to practice, more than ever, to look inward and outward simultaneously to balance our experience with facts, emotional reactiveness with empathy and holding paradox to keep those who aim at capturing our lowest instincts to further their own agendas at bay. Möbius is my version of a retreat that attempts to cultivate these qualities - not by providing ready made answers but by providing a space to explore discomfort at the edges of our own sense of safety. To ultimately end up being able to ask better questions."
We're still setting the focus areas for the retreat. Previously, Andy facilitated talk sessions to explore reactivity and prejudice, my favourite was "Steelmanning" - choosing a position you disagree with and trying to argue in favour - and parcour sessions focusing on creativity and risk assessment. I used lying and standing for deep relaxation and introspection, roughhousing, striking and receiving strikes to explore reactivity and resilience.

Bearpaw Deep Dive #1
Antwerp, Belgium, 18 - 19 July 2026

Antwerp, Belgium, 18 - 19 July 2026 〰️
First time in a few years doing a solo workshop/retreat.
Exploring deep relaxation and relaxation while doing things; both are immensely powerful for helping with acute and chronic stress and anxiety.
I want to show you a quality of relaxation that feels safe and empowering. It’s common to not allow ourselves to relax until everything is done, and then we collapse into a heap. Does that feel like a familiar story?
I want to use the deep dive sessions show and prove to you that relaxation can free energy and give you momentum continue when you approach it in a healthier way (relaxation ≠ collapse).

Guest teacher on Sachen Machen with Simon Maurer
Munich, Germany, 4 - 11 Oct 2026
〰️
Munich, Germany, 4 - 11 Oct 2026 〰️
Simon has a vision of helping people being more engaged, alive in their lives. Finding opportunities to create your own stories - similar to a tribal life where we could celebrate the highlights of our small group, not knowing how it compares to the rest of the world. He does it with a mix of dance, nature craft, play and roughhousing. Last year, he facilitated an epic session of immersive "tribal" play where different groups worked against and with each other for snacks, and tried to evade and hunt the dangerous "Leopard." I was teaching deeper meditation, qigong, and co-regulation sessions as part of the overall picture.
